As work progresses on the 2^nd issue of Clinical Health Promotion, we have some news regarding the present editorial. We have experienced that some uncertainty exists regarding what the term Clinical Health Promotion exactly encompasses.

We would like change that which is why Editor-in-Chief, Prof Hanne Tønnesen has written an editorial defining the term Clinical Health Promotion. By clearly outlining the term, we hope to see it rise to an even stronger position in the scientific world. Also we hope that having a clear definition will make the global clinical health promotion efforts by clinicians, nurses and other health professionals even more visible and comprehensible.

The editorial will be presented on clinhp.org in December along with the entire 2^nd issue of Clinical Healt Promotion – Research and Best Practice for patients, staff and community.
